Walk & Talk

Open Air Counselling

Shoreham-by-Sea Counselling

Open-Air ‘Walk & Talk’ Counsellor & Psychotherapist

If the thought of one on one counselling in a therapy room makes you feel anxious, intimidated or worried about opening up, then my Walk and Talk sessions could be what you are looking for.

Rather than being stuck inside, we take a walk somewhere you feel comfortable… the park, beach, forest or countryside for example. Walking at a pace determined by you, from a slow stroll to moderate walk, we simply have a chat and explore thoughts and feelings.

Walking and being out in nature releases endorphins that help to reduce depression, stress & anxiety.  Added to that, the physical act of walking can really help understand & process thoughts and feelings.

And, of course, it gives you some valuable exercise, a true win-win!

We simply have a chat and explore thoughts and feelings on a slow stroll or moderate walk (you set the pace on the walk and discussion)
